About Me
Yoga Nomad. I'm open minded, easy going and I love a good conversation that slips any small talk ☺
I left the UK in January 2017, to do my yoga teacher training and find a bit of freedom and I've been on the road or dreaming of the road ever since. I teach English online which I love because it allows me to support my travel from anywhere 🌎
My biggest love is teaching yoga and meditation, I have taught all over Asia and back home in Manchester.
I love food (cooking, eating, talking and learning about it - especially any other cultures that are more exciting than English food!!), yoga, meditation, music, travel, books. I'm easy going, I'm happy to hang out and make friends or go solo anywhere I go. I believe that people come into our lives for a reason and that life takes us where we are supposed to be ✨
I've hosted many friends and strangers over the years and know what a makes a good house guest, I love couch surfing and how it brings us a really unique experience you wouldn't get anywhere else. I always try to be as inconspicuous as possible and I really respect and honour that someone is allowing me into their home.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For experiences outside of the expected. To go under the surface and learn about cultures, food, language, people. To meet interesting characters and have experiences that will make life more exciting.
Couchsurfing is an incredible thing and I've had some amazing experiences - looking forward to many more.
Interests
I've practiced yoga postures for about 10 years and the more subtle aspects of yoga like meditation and breath work have been a big part of my life since I began teaching. I love talking about it (but am very capable of having other conversations haha) as well as anything in the meditation/mindfulness/wellness field. If you're kind enough to host me, free yoga or meditation lessons are all yours 😊
Not a whole lot I can say about travel, I'm sure everyone on here agrees...it's awesome! It's changed my life and there are still so many other places I want to see.
I try and buy natural and sustainable everything whenever I can, starting to experiment making my own products...results have been varied! I'm really passionate about sustainability in food and in products, I'm veggie and starting to make the transition to vegan - but I'm accepting of however you wanna live your life!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love so many kinds of music - dance, reggae, classic rock, indie, folk, latin, classical, afro beat...too too many.
I love literature, right now especially anything from 20th Century.
Really love getting book and music recommendations from locals, so let me know what you're into 👌☺
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Taught yoga for a month overlooking Lake Toba in Sumatra, I love getting off the usual backpacker beaten track.
