Overview
About Me
I finished college two years back and now teaching English in Paris, passing the time while I figure out what I want to do. I was looking for a change and within 10 days I moved to Paris and have somehow been living here for over a year now.
I love meeting new people and it's what pushed me to move out of Ireland. I love absorbing different cultures and embracing them as fully as possible, eating like the locals, sleeping like them and even knocking glasses together the same way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Like I said, I love meeting new people and I'm the kinda guy who is equally up for partying as I am sitting in a quiet space to read, so I guess I go with the flow pretty easily.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music is very important to me and I listen to too wide a scope to list, but I grew up with Rock/Metal, I love Bjork and currently am very interested in Sigur Ros. I've recently gotten into The Mars Volta and all the music surrounding them, so I'm loving latin music with a healthy does of jazz these days.
I've loved a lot of books, but recently I'm a fan of Haruki Murakami.
Haven't got the chance to watch much film recently, but I'm hooked on the new Game of Thrones
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I survived bossing around 21 college students turned teacher's in a friend's start up English language camp in China. The camp was 4 weeks with very minimal help from the supporting school and I was only 1 or 2 years the senior of the teachers, with 21 stressed out teachers with zero experience. To top all that off, I was also teaching 25 Chinese kids everyday too.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've been learning French since February, though I took it at high school. It's awesome learning everyday from reading, listening and speaking.
I want to start Spanish from hearing the music and being in contact with some of the culture of the Spanish speaking world.
I play guitar, and am always willing to show people a person who always wanted to learn a Bob Dylan song some chords.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Some interesting stories, the warm Irish charm and I'm more than happy to help out with any chores or jobs you need doing in your everyday lives.
If anybody needs some help with their English, I'd be happy to give some lessons or any help I can think of.
