My name is Youssef, 36 years old, graphic designer working and living in Dubai since 2014. I was born and raised in Tunisia so I can speak French, English and Tunisian Arabic, tho I can understand and communicate with most of the other Arabic dialects.

I am so into languages and different cultures.. on a mission now to have basic knowledge in Hebrew and I am curious to know any other language and culture.
I am spiritual-muslim, open minded, sarcastic, warm, friendly and independent.

After few experiences on CouchSurfing in the past 3 years, I really can say that this platform changed my life in a way that I look at things differently now and everyone I meet here teach me something new, which is one of the most exciting things I aim to have in my life.

Sexuality, religion, country of origin should not be an obstacle to make beautiful connections and create great memories with like-minded people on this platform. I like to talk and discuss all the subjects that are seen to be sensitive, this is how my brain is stimulated 😁

- Please have good/fluent English: to connect and communicate, let's make sure that the exchange happens in a smooth way.

- Please be independent: Try to make your own plans, be comfortable with buses and metros and I will do my best to pick you up, drop you off whenever I am free (which I often do). I will be happy to spend time with you chatting over a drink or coffee wherever convenient for both of us...we can even spend a day together, but I also might spend time with my friends or alone at home whenever needed. I live in JVC and there is a bus that takes to Mall of the Emirates, it takes 40mn tho but I always try to drop off my guests whenever I can.

- Please be clean: I am not saying this because I had any bad experience, it's actually the opposite 😃 Make sure to clean after yourself and ask me for help with anything.

-This is not a hookup platform (even tho I don't mind it as long as it is not your goal from contacting me) and this is not LinkedIn (I truly don't have jobs to offer).

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I started to be active on CouchSurfing since May 2019 when I started hosting people.
I work from Monday until Friday from 9am until 5:30pm, if it's not busy at work. So I usually have the weekend (Saturday and Sunday in the UAE) and evenings free to be in contact with my guests.
My first trip using CouchSurfing during 2 weeks in 4 different cities was in Iran and this made me really appreciate more what can this website offer to travelers: I was hosted by many people, met many others, discovered how people live, made friends, got helped with tips for my trips, had home-made food with locals and had so much fun!
I am here to connect with beautiful and pure souls, funny and easy-going people, make new connections and add fun to my guests trips :D

Intereses

I am constantly looking for what makes me happy and enjoy my everyday life...I avoid routine and always aim for change. I enjoy anything related to art, I actually work in Graphic Design without studying it since it was something I felt enjoying doing. I started recently to learn Photography and Motion Graphic, will need to practice tho, so I am always happy to take my camera with anyone and go to take shots anywhere around the city.
