ABOUT ME

I'm 24 years old from Adelaide South Australia. A few years ago I had just finished studying and had also just left the army. A friend of mine convinced me to buy a ticket to London and to get a 2 year visa. This was probably one of the greatest things that had ever happened to me.

I have been working for BSkyB in London as a software engineer for 2 years now. I love computers and IT; mainly computer games but love all technologies. I am a bit of a gym junkie. I enjoy running and going for long walks as well. Love shopping, but can never find anything that fits me! Food... ohh food. How i love food! I will eat just about anything and I can cook... better then most men! Love eating out, especially in good company. I am trying to get into financials and business, but am a definite novice - am learning though!

and of course I love to travel!

My greatest passion of all is meeting other people. Everyone is unique and I really enjoy getting to know people. My favourite past time is to get together with some new and/or old faces, hit up a bar/pub with some good music and just kick back and chat, debate or just listen! People are generally amazing and I have not only had the pleasure of meeting interesting people, but also experiencing their fascinating personalities first hand!

PHILOSOPHY

I have many friends from different backgrounds, religions, up-bringing's, countries and that have differing morals or goals in life. My philosophy is that I try not to judge people and try to accept others for who they are. Everyone has a place in my life as long as they want to be there!

Religiously - deeply atheist, but I like to debate about religion/faith, and love hearing about other people's beliefs.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far - zero, nothing, zip... but I have to start somewhere! I have met and stayed with many people in the past, usually people I know quite well. I usually stay in hostels when I travel. A friend of mine has constantly recommended me to join this site and start surfing, so here I am.

This is new to me + I love trying new things = surfs up!

Languages would be my big focus here. People can surprise me with all kinds of crazy things they do or know, but language is a definite for me. I need to learn a language other then english!
