About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to have no regrets in life
ABOUT ME
I'm Georgia, alot of my friends call me George, i'm 22 years old. i was born and raised in houston, and most of my family still live there. I'm currently going to Angelo State and majoring in physics. I love to travel, but i've only been out of the country once. I want to eventually study abroad and maybe even teach abroad. I love meeting new people if for nothing else but to have someone new to talk to and learn from.
"those who dance are considered insane by those who don't hear the music"-george carlin
"if you can't sing well, sing loud"-my dad; those are just about my favorite quotes ever(aside from some jim morrison ones, but in all fairness he was probably so high he didn't even know he's mouth was still attached to his face).
I want to become a high school science teacher someday, i know my ambitions sound insane but once you get to know me you begin to understand that i tend to act like a little kid, so i'm more comfortable with people that just want to goof around.
PHILOSOPHY
no regrets ever, no wasting time on what will only hold me back
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've only stayed with one person before since I don't get to travel as much as I would like to. But I will always try to accommodate someone heading through my neck of the woods. If I can't though, I'll try to help find someone else in town and can put you up.
Interests
writing, drawing, painting, carrying on a lengthy totally irrelavent conversation, occasionally math, discussing books and movies. movies is a really big one.

Music, Movies, and Books
i grew up with country music, so i still like that sometimes, but otherwise i love 70's and 90's rock music, like the doors, bob dylan, arlo guthrie, jimi hendrix, the wombats, flogging molly, the beatles, red hot chili peppers, green day, most the time i just listen to soundtracks from some of my favorite movies, in the past few years i haven't been good at keeping up with new music so i'm always looking for people to help educate me, i'm sorry to say i've been out of touch pop culture wise
i love almost all movies, not a big fan of horror movies but i love suspense, the fifth element, anything and everything Tarintino, cool hand luke, Fight Club, SLC Punk, Zerophilia, Shortbus, v for vendetta, pride and prejudice, north and south, eulogy, donnie darko, any Mel Brooks movie (young frankenstien, history of the world part 1), any kevin smith movie (I LOVE JAY AND SILENT BOB), eternal sunshine, lost in translation, i'll watch any movie with Simon Pegg in it, any Hayao Miyazaki movie, count of monte cristo, sabrina, scoop, thank you for smoking, queen of the damned, and a lot more
my favorite books are the traveler by john twelve hawks, the dresden files series, many many graphic novels, 1984, brave new world, barcode tattoo, handmaid's tale, joshua son of none, siddartha, jane eyre, and i love poetry
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
not much, for the longest time i was afraid of almost everything and it wasn't until a trip to barbados that i realized how stupid i was being and how much life i had already lost. i knew that i had to start making up for the time i had wasted.
so i went surfing (on water, not couches), and for someone that is so completely afraid of the things in the ocean as me, that was a big first step.
