Overview
About Me
I staff several mindfulness retreats for teenagers per year around the US and Canada in addition to teaching mindfulness in public schools, after school programs, day camps, and stay away summer camps in the Greater Boston Area. Why have I changed my career from engineering and dedicated my life to offering mindfulness to young people? The answer is simple. It is the best way I know how to help others, to offer something of value, and make a positive impact in the world, young people’s lives, and mine.
I'm a tall skinny guy who is enthusiastic about a lot of things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because we are interdependent beings and when we share spaces we learn and grow. We become greater than our separate selves. We rely on each other whether we admit it or not. Couchsurfing is a friendly way to travel and host travelers. We get a real experience of what its like to live somewhere and connect with locals when we travel this way.
Interests
Sustainability, making food from scratch, dancing, having good conversations, exploring, physical activities, and learning new things!
Oh and I have spent quite a few years living cooperatively. I researched it and built a website to offer tips, tricks, and suggestions for living with others more skillfully: http://www.cooplivingishard.com/

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveled to Timbuktu and into the Sahara Desert for the Western African music festival called the Festival of the Desert!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Meditation and Mindfulness! Want to meditate with me? I'm happy to do some guided meditations or just sit together :)
Have too much stuff? I help people downsize, declutter, and generally get rid of their excess belongings so they are lighter and can do what they want in life. Maybe you have a closet that is overstuffed or an office that is overflowing?
Anything energy efficiency related to buildings. Have some drafts? Want a recommendation on what to do in your attic? I did this for 5 years and can give some solid advice if you've got some questions.
