About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Break down my comfort zone, while seeing the world, meeting, and helping people along the way
ABOUT ME
I'm a recent graduate looking to expand my experiences since so far they're pretty limited. My hometown is a boring suburb that CS doesn't even recognize as a real place. I'm ready to get out and truly test my independence, meet new people, see new places, and try new things. I have nothing tying me down right now, and the support to make it happen, so that's what I'm doing. Scary, but exciting.
I like meeting new people and learning about them and myself in the process. I'm very laid back and easy to get along with. I can sleep on any surface without much trouble, and deeply. I don't claim to have the most exciting life story (yet) but I'm always willing to share it.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm currently trying to sort that out in a lot of ways. But I do believe in the goodness of people, that life doesn't need to be as complicated as we make it, and that it would all be a lot easier if people were just a little more open and honest.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Right now, I'm just looking into surfing. I've been home for the summer, but am leaving in September to Australia for a few months, and have no idea where I'll be staying after the first two days. So I'm hoping I can try my hands at this, meet some people, and make my transition a little bit easier.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None. I was surprised to find this site, but I'm glad I did. I think the concept is fantastic, and I hope to explore what it has to offer. But seeing as I've slept on a futon in an apartment living room for the last 2 years, I think I have a good head start.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have an extensive collection of movies and music, and I'm not terribly picky with either. Books are another story. I just don't get around to reading very often, but I hope I'll eventually learn how to love it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was there when the Pistons won the NBA championship in 2004.
I did 2 front flips (accidentally) within minutes skiing in Canada, and bent my rentals on the second one.
I hope to add to this list :)
