About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy life, experience new things, people, and food, and climb a few mountains along the way.

ABOUT ME

Enjoy traveling, having new experiences, and if there's a hike or a mountain climb along the way, all the better.
Rather quiet, introverted life, but still enjoy a variety of people and experiences.
For the last few years I've enjoyed traveling the world with a non-profit, going to medical conferences where I help do videotaped interviews. I've also spent time in the US Peace Corps in SE Asia, and prefer to work for volunteer organizations, where I feel I am making a contribution to the world.
This summer, me and my neighbors on my street started a community vegetable garden, which has been a great way to meet and get to know everyone in my neighborhood. (Hope they water my plants while I'm gone!)
Have a partner for the past 20 years, who lives close by.

Culturally, I'm Christian, Religiously: Unitarian Universalist, Theologically: Agnostic; Philosophically: Buddhist.

PHILOSOPHY

sometimes i sits and thinks.
sometimes i just sits.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing someone physically disabled/challenged reaching the summit of a tough mountain.

Teach, Learn, Share

Mindful eating, not just consuming.
I believe it's all about the adventure of living, where we learn and share with each other.
