About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Keep it real.

ABOUT ME

Outside of my work I try to chill out as much and as often as possible. Playing music, reading, sunshine, etc. Coffee shops are a must.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and learn. There will never be a point in my life where I have learned everything, so expand! Grow! Be comfortable with the limited experience and knowledge of my present self but don't ever stop testing my limits.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Yet to be determined. Until now, I have been advocating and informing people who aren't on CS about how awesome this community is.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All the couchsurfers I have ever met have been staying on the couches of good friends. I've met many many good people, and even long time good friends through couch surfing.
As for myself, I've been couch surfing since long before this website existed, and have hosted many a friend from around the world.

Interests

I have had so many interests over the course of my life, it would be futile to list them all. So I'll list the interests of this current moment.
Sunshine, when it finally comes. Music, banjo! And I'm currently learning how to play the tabla. Cooking, refining my techniques and my pallate. Living cheap, and well.

Music, Movies, and Books

To include all the music and books that I love would be insane. So I'll just make some general statements:
For music, I love reggae and dub; a wide degree of electronic music; hardcore punk and metal is pretty rad; I'm a total sucker for the banjo, and bluegrass; and I spend a lot of time listening to hindustani music.

For books, I read a lot of non fiction, ie history, sociology, and science. Some of my favorite fiction writes include Herman Hesse, Tom Robbins, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, and many more. I also thought that the George R. R. Martin series was amazing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once upon a summer, I left for the swamps of 100 Mile House, BC, and lived alone in the wilderness in a tent for five months. It was pretty amazing, and incredibly spiritual.
