ABOUT ME
This may sound a little strange, but I am just starting to find out who I am. Because of this, I tend to change a lot. To some, it may seem like a random popcorn display of interests, but I like to think of it as a search towards finding myself - I experiment and I push my limits and when it´s all over I´m what is standing. So, I will tell you who I am at this moment - I am a guy in denial of my own boringness. It´s true, I can be satisfied with doing some of the most bland activities. Of course, I still love the thrill of a adrenaline activities and I can interest an interesting person in conversation...
PHILOSOPHY
I don't think there is much that really matters to me except the people that come into my life. Everything in my life is either practical (like a job that pays the bills) or connects me with other people. Some might think that I'm apathetic or that I have a lack of identity since I will do just about any activity that enables me to connect with someone else. Maybe they're right. My take on it is this - I know exactly what I want out of this life. The only true capital in this world are the moments I share with people I care about.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Right now I am a selfish couch surfer - but not by choice. The problem is that I haven't lived places that couch surfers like to visit. I can´t wait to move out to Portland, OR. I am definitely excited about meeting travellers and contributing back to the community. -- I had some fun out in Portland, but as it turns out the job market didn't like me that much. I've taken a job doing disaster relief for an insurance company. It's a decent gig. I don't have the opportunity anymore to have a traditional community, but I'm thinking about meeting the couchsurfers around in the cities to be my travel community. I haven't met a couch surfer that I didn't like.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I found this website and decided to do what all my friends considered risky behavior - stay at a complete strangers house. My first couch surf - in Gainesville, FL, sold me to the merits of this system. Since I have met a number of friends and, honestly, I haven´t had a bad experience yet.
Interests
I love to watch people (sounds scary), laugh (often times for no reason), exercise (especially when I'm stressed out), watch movies (especially at the drive in movie theater in Trenton), explore nature, go skinny dipping (if the mood is right), listen (only if the person is being honest), and meet new people.

Music, Movies, and Books
I don't pretend to understand my taste in music. It seems on some days I will listen to nothing but Classic Rock. Others days I feel like a gangsta and rap is the only way. Even on some occasions, I listen to the top 40 and whatever comes on the radio.
I used to pretend that I had to always be intrigued to like a movie. Though I still love those movies, now I can admit that I love stupid movies too. I love movies that make me laugh. I love movies that make me think. I love movies that scare the hell out of me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Most of my "amazing things" are only deemed amazing on a personal level. I have some phenomenal accomplishments that probably seem petty to an outsider.
Teach, Learn, Share
Couchsurfing is a constant experience in trust in a fellow human. It's a risk, but it pays off. It's a gold mine for finding interesting people in the places that you travel to.
