ABOUT ME
I live with my boyfriend and our 2 dogs. I enjoy my life and my friends. I love learning new things and experiencing life! I have a passion for everything (well almost everything). I am open minded and attempt to not worry about things. I observe everything and obsess over nothing. I try to be optimistic about even the most difficult of situations and stay strong through what I can't control. I have a huge heart and even bigger welcome mat. I only have friends, and prefer to keep it that way.

PHILOSOPHY

I love this quote. I love that my life will never look life anyone else's, even if they lived a life similar to mine. Every BODY is different and as a result we experience life so differently.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Oh where do I begin! I have been hosting on and off for the past 6 years. The travelers I have hosted varied from 18 years old to 65 years old. Everyone brought something unique to the CS experience and I am grateful to have met them all. We might not stay in touch throughout the years however, they will forever be remembered in the stories I tell to other travelers, friends and new strangers. I have been blessed to have met so many wonderful people through this site and my life continues to grow as a result.
I have also slept on the floors, couches and beds of wonderful strangers who let me into their homes while I was galavanting the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

For myself my experience has always been a positive one with CS. There are so many different stories from each traveler! I learned to surf from one of my couch surfers, I've met the tallest person I think I'll ever know at a random meet up in France at a Regge show, there are so many different stories! How about this, you tell me one of yours and I'll tell you one of mine :)

Interessen

There isn't much I am not interested in. I am fascinated by other cultures and beliefs. I want to get out and do things that I have never done (or maybe have never done there), I want to touch, climb, walk, see, smell and taste the earth. My life wouldn't be wonderful if it wasn't filled with different interactions.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

The only movies that I have a hard time sitting through are fantasy and action. I love comedies and documentaries occasionally movies based on real events.
When it comes to music there isn't much I don't enjoy. I love music and it's beats, I love the way a song will ignite a memory, bringing it back to life, the time, the place - everything as it was when that particular song is played. I would like to meet someone who doesn't like music...
I love to read, it's something that I don't think I will ever quit. At the moment I am reading The Brain That Changes Itself, a great book if you are in to neuroplasticity!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I have lived throughout the United States, so I have seen a lot here. I went to the Grand Canyon and got over my fear of Heights. I have seen the Pacific Ocean from the other side of the World. Yankee Stadium has the best hot dogs, maybe it's the atmosphere, but that hot dog was wonderful. I've watched bombs go off in Israel while sitting across the water feeling helpless. My life has always been filled to the brim and I intend to keep it that way.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

Teach - Something that I have figured out in my youth is this; No matter what happens in this life, good or bad, it is always a good thing. Because if you can learn from something whether it be the first time or fifth time. If you learn from it, it's the best thing that could happen.
Learn - Something I would like to learn, I would love to learn more. I don't know everything, I don't even know close to everything (I don't think anyone does). But I would like to know more, to see more and to experience more.
Share - I don't know if this means anything to anyone, but it sure means a lot to me.
