About Me

I love to travel and discover other places, from famous cities to most unexploded or remote hideouts. And I love to do this in the less tourist possible way, preferring to go in alternative times of year, meeting local people and using lots of time, walking and of course cycling.
I am an enthusiast of cycle travelling. I think is the best way to know almost every place on earth. Just taking a bike, panniers and a tent, and living self-sufficient.
I like to socialise and talk with people, I like listen music and I love beer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started to host with the intention of meeting people from another countries. I use to travel in countryside places, camping with my tent as possible, and I don't need to be hosted usually. But I don't care about reciprocal hosting, and I used CS only in a giving way. The experience was pretty nice most of the times. In the future, I want to be hosted by people, specially when I'll be in big cities. I'm sure it will be a nice experience. CS, beyond economical saving reasons, is a very much better way to know another places.

Music, Movies, and Books

I can appreciate many styles of music. But I love Oldies, from the gold US era, the super bands from the seventies, like Led Zeppelin or Pink Floyd, as well as Brazilian music like Bossa Nova, Samba or Choro. I also listen to some classics, or other old things.
About books, I love travel stories, and books with philosophical content. I love magic realism, and probably my favourite book now is Cien Años de Soledad.
About films, just the same, plus the cinema from the nineties. I have lots of golden memories from childhood, from movies like Forrest Gump, Jurassic Park, Back to the Future or Terminator...
