About Me
Hi :) I'm Gea, I'm from Bologna.
I lived for a year in England (Bristol) for an exchange program when I was in high school.
I studied in an Art School and because I love working with children I'm now studying Didactics of Art at Bologna's Fine Art Academy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I really love traveling and understanding countries I'm visiting in all their aspect. I also really like meeting new people and getting to know different realities from mine.
Interests
I love photography in all its aspects! I love art photography (I really love Ana Mendieta and Francesca Woodman photos), reportage photographs (my favorite photographer is Sebastiao Salgado), old family albums photos and historic photographs.
Lately I've been experimenting with analogical photography, I love the black and white films!
I studied History of Art for many years but I started studying and discovering the beauty of Contemporary Arts and Artists only lately. Recently I've been to Rovereto's MART (Modern and Contemporary Art Museum) where I saw Giuseppe Penone's exhibition and I loved it! He's my favorite artist right now... :D
I really like Neoclassic and Romantic art and I love artistic currents of late 1800 and early 1900.

Music, Movies, and Books
I really love reading and watching movies. I try to read every kind of books. For some time I loved reading biographies but now I mostly read novels. Lately I started reading some poetry.
I watch lots of movies and I often go to the cinema. I like almost every genre, the ones that I really can't stand are military, romantic and western films.
I really love music from the 50s till the 70s. Lately I've been obsessed with the song "Time in a bottle" by Jim Croce and all of his music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
At 16 years old I decided to leave home and go live in Bristol for 10 months.
