ABOUT ME

Well...
I am from Minneapolis, MN, the greatest damn city on the earth. Everyone thinks I'm joking when I say that, but really it is.

I love bikes, biking, working on bikes...

I study physics (and math, but I like physics more), I really like it but don´t know what I will end up doing with it.

I´m a fairly quiet and contemplative person, I like to read and don´t mind keeping to myself, but more and more I´ve started to enjoy meeting new people.

PHILOSOPHY

Until recently I was worried about what I was going to do in my life/with my life. I am going to finish my undergraduate degree next year and I didn´t know what I was going to do. I have realized though that what you do is not so important as the people you know. I am no longer going to try to force myself to find my path in life, I am just going to live and enjoy the company of all the amazing people I meet along the way. The details will work themselves out.
I wrote that a couple years ago, but I still agree so I'm going to leave it. I've followed my advice, taking a couple years off to go on a big bike trip, and I definitely don't regret it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have had only limited experience with couchsurfing so far, but it has been amazing!
I met my favorite person in Sevilla when my friends couchsurfed with him, then had a really great time in Brussels, though I was only able to stay a day.
Now I've been able to host a string of travellers, and each one has been awesome in their very unique way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My friends visiting me in Sevilla stayed with someone they found through CS and he amazed me with his generosity and openness. More than anything else, meeting him encouraged me to become involved.
After this I couchsurfed in Brussels, and I can't describe how much better the experience was then if I had simply gone to a hostel and then wandered around this city without knowing anyone.
