ABOUT ME

I am 62 years young and lucked into an early retirement. Being too young to actually "retire" I now have to figure out what I want to do with the rest of my life. Four months of traveling around Europe with my son Mike was fun!!!

Amazing things I've done? I didn't seriously injure myself when I attempted downhill skiing :-) Amazing things I've seen? That's an easy one - being in the delivery room when my two lovely boys were born. I still get misty thinking about it...

Following on the "history buff" theme I would definitely like to learn about the regional history of the areas I travel. Castles, great people from the area...
