About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Enjoy marriage year 1, while becoming a good doctor.
ABOUT ME
I have always been a sort of "Jack of all trades". I grew up on a farm of sorts in Michigan and built houses with my dad, uncle, and brother for about 10 years. I love to cook for people and I made a career out of that for a short while during my college years. I have always had an interest in the arts and have spent a little time doing sculptures, drawings, photography, writing, and acting. I currently am engrossed in medical school, specializing in biomechanics and physical rehabilitation. I love to get outdoors for fun. I try to get in around 100 miles a week on my bike, and when I get the chance I hike and fly fish. The wife I talk about on this profile is still "future wife" until 9-10-11 . Can't wait!

Music, Movies, and Books
I used to be really snobby about movies, so I know a lot of "the classic", but that went with my teenage years. My wife loves scary movies and old foreign films, so I watch mostly those now. Some of our favorite movies that are a bit more current are Thank You For Smoking, The Fighter, and Pi.
My best friend and I were dj's at a local independent radio station in college, so there is nothing I like to do more than sitting outside with some wine and a record player. Aside from real poppy pop, there is not a whole lot of music I don't appreciate. Favorites are Pixies, The National, Beirut, Weezer, Muddy Waters, and Otis Redding.
Most of the books I read currently are all medical books, which I have a strange love for, but they don't quite beat Hemingway, Bukowski, or Eugenides.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I learned and performed a fire dance in Bali, Indonesia, which doesn't compare to the ones I saw in the jungle there!
