About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Hang tough until work starts

ABOUT ME

Lived in a number of places. Currently getting started on my second career as a nurse. Worked with computers and networks as a software developer and a systems admin. Also have worked and an emergency medical technician.

Laid back, get along with just about anyone. Have a few very close friends. A sociable introvert.

PHILOSOPHY

Hope to leave my little corner of the world a better place or at least not the worse for wear but not expecting any thanks. Enjoy the good things I have (friends/family/health) while I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Once I get my ball rolling I'd like to host people, but right now I am in need of a place to rest my head and save up for a place of my own.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to this site but have been staying with friends. Doing chores, or pet sitting are how I stay busy along with temp work.

Interests

Outdoors, hiking/walking, snorkeling/SCUBA, computers, movies, arts, travel, eat/drink, and all those things you are not supposed to talk about with polite company (religion/spirituality, politics, etc).

Being 500 meters away from an active volcano. Driven cross country with a good friend on a motorcycle for a month. Volunteer at an orphanage for nine months.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a knack for being able to take the complex things I know about and help others understand them.
