About Me
ABOUT ME
Gediminas: I'm an easy-going and positive person that gets along with almost anyone. I love meeting people with different perspectives on life and to share interesting experiences together. I love talking politics, social problems, philosophy, music, movies or basically anything else that's interesting!
Jovita: I might seem a bit distant to some people that don't know me well, but when I get to know people a little I am a very warm and friendly person that can talk about anything for hours.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
At the moment we are unable to host because we are in the process of moving ourselves, but we hope to resume hosting once we're settled in a new place.
Interests
Gediminas: Since I'm a freelance writer and work from home, I have time to enjoy some of my passions often - I'm a jazz/contemporary guitar player and also an amateur basketball player. Like most of us, I love to spend time outside whenever the weather allows it and simply enjoy a good book or just spend time with friends.
Jovita: I am a painter and thus naturally am really interested in the art world - I try to keep up with the local art events and am constantly discovering new things I like. Some of my other interests include traveling as much as possible to both different cities or just simply retreating to nature, watching TV shows and movies, listening to quality rock and electro.
We both have a passion for animals and volunteer at the local animal shelter, and also enjoy everything outdoors - biking, hiking, climbing hills or just simply laying on the grass on a sunny day.
We fell in love with Italy when we lived there for four months, but live for travelling and are always looking for opportunities to discover new places and new experiences.
We hate tourist traps and love to exchange experiences on memorable places that are worth visiting. The real experiences are those that you can discover yourself, not the ones you find on a leaflet.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Gediminas: I'm a pretty introverted person, so for me some of the most striking experiences have come from simply suddenly seeing the world in a different light. But as for experiences in the more obvious sense of the word, for me one of the most memorable experiences is the feeling you get after finishing a concert that you've worked for a long time to prepare for.
Jovita: When I think about the most memorable moments of my life, I remember many different small moments that form the person I believe I am. So I'll tell about a recent one that happened recently - me and one of my best friends, after a long night of celebrating, went to an absolutely deserted beach at the sea and had a very memorable swim in the light of the sun rising.
