About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To buy a camper van and see Australia - when I finally arrive there!

ABOUT ME

I'm a pretty easy going guy, open minded and always trying to be more so. Earlier this year I sold my flock of sheep and now I'm travelling and hoping to work it all out - and having a total blast along the way. Always up for meeting new people and believe a cup of tea can fix almost anything.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to live as much as possible in the here and now, as we can miss out on so much by dwelling on the past or worrying about the future. The present is where it's at ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've yet to have my first CS experience as I've just recently joined. From friends experience and what I can see from the site, I'm very much looking forward to it!

Interests

I love music, film, photography and reading. The latter two I've been able to connect with and enjoy so much more since coming traveling!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music wise, I'm a bit of a 90's indie kid at heart but like most people I suppose, I listen to most things. Book wise, again I'll read anything well written and after recently traveling India, I'm now a fan of a lot of indian writers. My favourite writer, though, is John Steinbeck.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

So far the most amazing thing I've done is quitting my job to go travelling for 2 years. I'm pretty sure the most amazing thing I've seen is just around the corner...

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to learn about places I haven't yet been or about types of people I've never known.

Equally I like to share my experiences of growing up in Glasgow and of my travels.

All over a cup of tea or beer.
