I'm That Guy; you may have heard of me? I'm That Guy that can go up to pretty much anyone and start a conversation. I'm That Guy who did the amusing stunt that everyone else just talked about. I'm That Guy that ended up being invited on stage at a concert. I do a lot of MC/announcing work.. I'm That Guy that you can give a microphone to on 10 minute's notice and host your event.

As far as the CS-related side of my personality is concerned, I love to have fun, I can get along with just about everybody, and I try not to be too demanding. Outside of those things, I'm also an extremely motivated and hard-working person.. if there's a more difficult path that yields a greater reward, it's the path I'll usually take.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was recommended here from a friend when my overnight plans fell through and I needed a couch, fast. I stayed with someone after just meeting them via text that morning and it went great, so now I'd really like to see if I can't get into the community some more.

Interests

Computers/technology, Android phones but Apple computers, electronic music, movies (I'll watch anything once), cars, competitive robotics (FIRST, VEX, or otherwise), Star Trek, Fringe, friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Tens of thousands of high school students cheering their heads off for six 120 pound robots (that had been designed and built in six weeks) competing against each other for a world championship title. One of those robots was being driven by me.
