Overview
About Me
I've done a good amount of traveling and I'm always ready to do more, both locally and internationally. There's a certain intrigue to meeting people and visiting places that never gets old.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I work irregular hours so it's rare that I can host people at my house, especially on weekends....
however I really enjoy getting out and meeting new people. Exploring different cultures and trying new foods is important to me, and I love the sharing aspect that comes with the Couchsurfing family.
To that point, I try and host open local CS events every week or two. We have a great group of core CSers who are very welcoming and I'm grateful to have them as friends.
If I'm not working, I will gladly meet up with any travelers passing through town, whether you want a tour of the area or just to chat over a beer.
Interests
Computers, biking, cooking, hiking, photography, games, x-ray, museums, and films. Indie bands at tiny venues or rock stars at huge concerts. History and culture. Appreciating the little things. Cold beer and trying new food.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd like to find others interested in learning Japanese. There's an old acoustic guitar at my house that I would like to learn to play some day. And I'm considering getting into remote controlled planes and multirotors.
As mentioned previously, I frequently host local events. Join us!
If I'm not working, I will gladly meet up with any travelers passing through town, whether you want a tour of the area or just to chat over a beer.
