It's always hard to describe yourself, don't you think?
I can say that I'm a realistic, honest, pure, generally positive, open minded person. A true nature lover that could watch a river streaming by for hours. Living in nature is one of my favorite things to do. Just living in the moment, waking up with the sunrise and going to sleep with the sunset. In city life this can often also be the opposite.
I try to live as good in balance with nature as i can. Therefore I am a Vegan and everyday I learn and grow and become a better person as i was yesterday.

Three years ago I left my hometown in Belgium to start a different life, and with ups and downs, with losing myself and finding myself again, I am trying to live a simple healthy life connected to mother earth without spending much money.

Honestly, as a traveler that really enjoys being outdoor in nature, life can get a bit lonely sometimes and when i hitchhike and arrive in bigger cities then i try to stay somewhere to have social contact because i also really like to meet people and have a talk and drink, or a joint if the occasion arises ;-)

I like this website because it allows you to interact with people you would otherwise never meet in your life and when i scroll around i am so amazed how much beautiful personalities there are on this planet and it also really gives me hope for a better future and a peaceful world where everybody can fit in.

Intereses

I recently started taking more pictures of nice places that mean a lot to me and i try to write a blog to it.
This can all be from a person that drove me somewhere, to a beautiful sunset or the kind of food i was making...
I all try to write it down, my feelings and my thoughts, to create a better view on my journey and to not get stuck in random thoughts for hours.

Hiking is my favorite thing in the world. Often i walk barefoot to connect to the Earth.
I am learning about wild edibles like weeds and funghi and nuts and seeds and flowers that are a great source of food that nature offers us right in front of our nose.
I am also very interested in Permaculture and self sufficient living.

Música, películas y libros

I love all kinds of Indie, Folk, Rock, as well as most of it subgenres, Acoustic bands with meaningful lyrics to think about.
Music that can be enjoyed on a sunny day as well as some music that is for rainy, cloudy evenings. It can be melancholic as well as happy music. Depending on the mood. I love it when music just heals you.
From time to time when i'm in a party mood i love some 'liquid drum and bass'.

Some of my favorite artists/bands at the moment are Will Varley, Frank Turner, The National, Men I Trust, Ben Howard, Tigers Jaw, Iron & Wine, José Gonzalez, Front Bottoms, War on Drugs, Hollow Coves, Sons of the East, Mac deMarco, Modest Mouse, Paper Kites, Head and the Heart, Bear's Den, Lord Huron, Angels And Airwaves, Elephant Revival, Balthazar, Intergalactic Lovers, The xx, Etherwood, and many many more...

When it comes to Books:
I am open for any non-fiction book that's about Psychology, Philosophy and any interesting topics like that. I am reading 'A new Earth' from 'Eckhart Tolle' at the moment and also 'Start where you are' from 'Pema Chodron'
I am not a big fan of Fiction to be honest.

I haven't watched much new movies and i haven't visited a Cinema in 6 years or so.
Nonetheless i enjoy any good Comedy, a serious drama movie about life or something, I do watch a LOT of Documentaries. When it comes to Series I pretty much stay with the basics of Friends, New Girl and Rick and Morty (I can watch it over and over again) with some exceptions of very good Flemish Series that I really enjoy when visiting Belgium!

Algo increíble que he hecho

I've climbed a lot of mountains, been a lot around in Europe, did a skydive, a roadtrip with a jeep in the mountains of Albania together with some people i've met along the road, Got lost in the Israeli desert with some travelers and met a wonderful person where i spend a few weeks with at her place and joined a Jewish Christmas, I did a roadtrip with a caravan through Scandinavia with my soulmate from Austria, met hundreds of cool people...
But (and i don't want to say now that it wasn't a beautiful time) when you are not totally in the moment it all doesn't have much meaning. These were one of my highlights of my travels so far, most of the others got lost due to rushing over places and not being in the moment.
So I would say,
Trying to find that inner peace and the freedom in yourself and letting go of thoughts, that is definitely one amazing thing I've did and I try to do that every day as good as I can no matter where in the world I am.

Guitar is something i would like to learn.
I find it quite hard to do, and all beginning are hard but someone once told me that 5 minutes of trying every day can have incredible results in just a few months time so whenever i see a guitar, i would like to try it! :-)

I can share stories, I can share a smile, a hug, a talk, a listening ear, i can cook some good vegan food...
Unfortunately i am very low in money for the moment so going to bars and clubs, drinking coffees, or things like that are not really fitting in my budget, even though i really like those things!

I can offer help in anything even if I'm not sure that I can do it, I will at least try.
