I can show you the fantastic surroundings (if you want by bike). In Havelte you can find some prehistoric dolmen, also the village Giethoorn is nearby.
You can also visit a Jewish prison camp in World War II in Westerbork.
In the summer season you can hire a boat for a relaxed day in Friesland. In the winterseason you might be lucky to try some ice-skating.
If you dare I can cook some Dutch food.
In Meppel, Groningen or Zwolle there is much nightlife.
