About Me

I'm into music in a big way, songwriting is my passion and focus. I love most things creative. I'm a qualified fitness trainer (though not working as one at the moment) and love to keep fit and active. I generally like to eat fresh healthy food, and I don't eat dairy at all. It's never a problem though I can always work around it. I don't drink anymore either. I aim to get the most out of each day.

If you are new to couch surfing, please read up on couch surfing etiquette and understand what it's all about. It's not just about free accommodation. It's about connections and sharing and experiences with like minded people. It's such a cool thing. There's information on this website and forums and things on how to be a good surfer also. :)

Here's a great article on how to surf and host, if you're relatively new to Couchsurfing definitely have a read, it'll help with the whole experience. https://welovewanderlust.wordpress.com/2015/09/02/couchsurfing-how-to-be-a-good-host-and-a-good-guest/

Here's another article I recommend checking out if you're unsure how to write a good request:

I usually don't accept random "friend requests" on here from people I haven't met or hosted (friend requests I'm referring to, not a couch request). If you'd like to be in contact, send me a message. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the concept of meeting locals in a foreign place and having the opportunity to actually sleep at their place if they have room. I believe we're all connected on this planet, far more alike than different, and couch surfing is a cool way to share experiences with like minded people. One World, one love.

Please be mindful that hosting (as all experienced surfers will know) takes effort and takes time. It costs the host somewhat in a monetary value for laundry, etc, but mostly it costs with time, and nothing is more valuable than someones time. Couch surfing is an exchange between a surfer and a host, it's not one way. Please be mindful as a surfer, of what you can bring to the table also. Metaphorically and literally. Above all, appreciation goes a long way.

Music, Movies, and Books

So many musical influences, I'm into a LOT of music. Almost all music. I love bands such as The Killers, Kings of Leon, My Chemical Romance, Foo Fighters, The 1975, etc. Absolutely love lots of pop too, such as Taylor Swift, Adele, etc etc. As a songwriter I listen to everything.
My favourite book of all time is The Little Prince. I also loved Way of The Peaceful Warrior by Dan Millman, Seven Years In Tibet by Heinrich Harrer, On The Road by Jack Kerouac, Kidnapped by Robert Louis Stevenson.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can play the guitar, so if you have a guitar and want to learn some basics, I'd be happy to teach you!
If your English isn't so good I'm happy to try and communicate and help with it also.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Knowledge, positivity, a smile and hopefully good company. :)
