ABOUT ME

Extremely talkative, regarded "hyperactive" by my friends. Mmmm...I would definately try my best if you would like some minutes of quietness...

I am from Hong Kong, where I witnessed the handover of soverignty from UK to China in 1997. We all watched the last governor leaving the beautiful Victoria Harbour. It was a rainy night. I was ten.

What are Hong Kong people like? Pragmatic? Stick to routine? or just because they know clearly how the society works and so paranoid of being eliminated?

I know how the social ladder should be, and I have numerous friends trying so hard to climb to the top. And in the middle they ask themselves, "what am I doing?" To the simplest question, they just can't answer.

I sometimes drink, seldom smoke, do sports regularly, keep a cheerful mood always, and I know I am gonna live long on earth.

What I know is, I got loads to time to burn. And I would like to burn the time, with really really really funny people.

I take photos, some with journalistic purpose I suppose? I really want to share the photos with you. I can upload them all, but they are in my facebook.

University....It's the place where I got my so called "personal philosophy".

Let's forget all the expectation from all others because we are WE!

The warden of our campus hostel in one night knocked at my door. He said, "you shouldn't stick a poster with a naked girl onto your frontdoor". "Okay," I said.

After he left, I drew with a whiteboard pen a bra for the naked lady on that poster. She just looked even better!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am now away from Hong Kong, living in Rotterdam, Netherlands, for an exchange programme in Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam.

It's Europe isn't it? I will travel to as many places as I can, meeting as many people as I can.

After some nights in bed I just remembered someone who told me about couchsurf. Yes, that's what I need.

Is that a pity? Yes it is. but it never should be a burden.

Centres d'intérêt

Photography, definately. That all started with the Canon product of 400D. It's a definately a ABC piece of camera, and one for newbies.

I have a 28-135 lens. 28mm is for sure not wide enough, but 135mm allows me to take some photos in really shallow depth of view.

We sing, we make joy. I'm a tenor by the way.

And... Guitar
Jack Johnson was the one who always gave me motivation for learning guitar. After some time I now manage to play myself a country folk. :-) Do you have a guitar in your place?
