Overview
About Me
I'm the black sheep in my family - I can spend all my money just see, taste, hear things while travelling. I love how a landscape can be breathtaking or going to church, ending up crying because of all the beauty... emotions, feelings, people, that is what matter to me the most.
I am very openminded, warm and outspoken person but don't be suprised when I tell you I don't like partying a lot - having a beer or wine is ok for me, dancing as well. But no crowded places, I prefer serenity and heart to heart conversations.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because it's way more fun to spend a night or two with local people than to be staying alone in a boring hotel/hostel room (because mostly I travel alone) :)
For hosting - while I was in Spain, I was able to host people and I will have to work on my living situation when I get back to Vilnius.
Best experiences so far:
Kenyan and Mexican guys whom I hosted a few years back. We had an amazing road trip. The Kenyan guy and I met again when he was in Vilnius a few years later.
And one super duper Aussie who hosted me in Andorra, we had so much fun and laughter and awesome conversations.
And one Spaniard in Malaga with whom I stayed for much longer than I was planning and I had so much fun...

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: I prefer dramas, something a little biographical, about art, artists. Recently I have come to like French films.
Favourite movie and book, both - A Girl with a Pearl Earring. Or the trilogy "Before Sunrise/Sunset/Midnight"
Books: love reading about other cultures, also a huge fan of Harry Potter:)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Changes with every experience:)
But maybe visiting Vardzia in Georgia. Bryce Canyon in Utah and surviving those Californian forests...
Camino Frances. St. Jean Pied de Port to Santiago!
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach - something that the other does not know:) Mostly artistic stuff.
Learn - something one can teach me. Appreciate lots of things. I would like to learn about photography.
Share - stories and laughter:)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Some stories, some lessons from my experiences. Everything depends on the situation:)
I will fill in this one more once I start hosting again.
