About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learn medicine, Practice Yoga, Challenge Myself, Live Free

ABOUT ME

Finishing med school now, graduating in May and going into Emergency Medicine. Being doctorly keeps me pretty busy, but I'm proud of it and I love it and I create opportunities to live the rest of my life fully too.

I am laid back and respectful of other peoples' space, and I would expect the same from any surfers. That said, I am also very open right off the bat and enjoy meeting and connecting with new people.

In my free time I enjoy art galleries, live music, outdoor activities of just about any sort, playing with other people's pets, having drinks and exchanging stories. I also do a whole lot of yoga.

PHILOSOPHY

I was raised by Buddhist dentists and went to a Quaker school. I value intellect, curiosity, honesty, and a willingness to change one's mind. I appreciate genuine creativity and critical thought and I am excited by people who fully engage with their lives.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visited Antarctica, met the Dalai Lama, slept in a hut in Peru, a tent in Tibet, jumped out of a plane and off bridges a few times. That whole thing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know about medicine of course, and I enjoy teaching complex medical ideas in simple ways. I'm also a registered yoga teacher and can teach yoga, meditation, or just talk philosophy.
