my name is geke, but feel free to call me flora.
i'm born and raised in a dutch town called urk.
i've lived there together with my parents, 3 sisters and 3 dogs, but i'm out exploring this wonderful world we get to live on,
connecting with other human beings and connecting with myself.
i don't have any plans, i'll see where i'll end up!

there are a few things i'm passionate about in life and they all come down to:
growth and love.
those things are yoga (licensed teacher since december 2017), photography and videography(i love creating and sharing topics i feel passionate about through visual images),
connecting, traveling, reading and writing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

i love meeting opened minded people/like minded souls and i feel like this platform attracts those :)

traveling is something i love and it would be awesome if I could meet people or find a place to sleep through couchsurfing!

Music, Movies, and Books

my love for music is big and i don't limit myself to one or two types of music.
the lyrics and the vibes in a song are important to me.

movies.. don't watch them that often anymore, but when i do it has to be something i reaaally enjoy watching!
what i do love is watching all sorts of documentary's.

every book with a good story or a learning lesson is a book i can read.
also spiritual books, like A new earth from eckhart tolle.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

solo backpacking for 2 months in thailand.. that was a big step for me at that time!

also doing a 1 month ytt in India, best thing i've EVER done for myself!

also bareback + bridle-less horseback riding.

i spy a theme in my activity's, and that theme is freedom.

Teach, Learn, Share

i can teach yoga, listen, share, help, guide, cook vegan food or take pictures of you!
i love going on adventures with the camera and friends to shoot beautiful, fun, candid high quality pictures.
while enjoying the present moment and the beauty around us!
