I used to focus a lot on planning my life. Figured out that made me very unrelaxed, so I try to take things more as they come and make the best of it. Not always that easy...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I met some couchsurfers for joint hiking adventures and did some surfing. Wasn't able to host, yet. Hope this will change soon when my guestroom will be done.

Interests

I like travelling and being in motion and spend my holidays visiting new cities as well as hiking with my tent and my backpack. As an environmental educationalist, nature and being outside loom large in my life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like for example Newton Faulkner and Skunk Anansie and visit Metal festivals as a lot of my friends go for that but I enjoy a lot of different kinds of music as long as they're not German Volksmusik.
I enjoyed reading Emma Donoghue's "Room" and David Nicholl's "One Day". Always in search of good book.
I don't watch a lot TV. One of my favourite films is "Muder by Death" (really).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lost one of my flip-flops in the Aral Sea.
