About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Laugh, Learn and Live

ABOUT ME

I am an easy going person who is considerate and enjoys to help others. I am not the most out going person to have roamed the earth, but I really enjoy meeting new people and get along splendidly with the majority of people I meet and love every minute.
I studied Environmental Studies with a minor in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and Geology.
I have been living in Bend OR since 2012 and have worked in several industries. I have been a wildland firefighter, a cook, butcher, builder and lab tech. I really enjoy learning about the world around me, and experiencing life how it is meant to be experienced.

I thrive off of other active and energetic people who share my passion for the outdoors and all they entail

I think life is one of the greatest learning experiences and the only one you will get, so why not make the best of it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Interests

I love the outdoors and nearly everything that they provide, be it recreation, spiritual rejuvenation or just some good old fun in the sun.
My primary interests are camping, hiking, skiing, boarding, fishing and to many others to list.

I enjoy cooking and eating. Good quality food is very important to me and i love to grow my own veggies, I have raised my own chickens, rabbits, ducks, goats, and pigs. Cooking and more importantly eating, allows people to get together and enjoy the splendor which is food!

Music, Movies, and Books

Song of the DoDo- David Qualman's study of the distribution of species on islands and islandlike patches of landscape - to modern ecosystem decay, offering us insight into the origin and extinction of species, our relationship to nature, and the future of our world.
A splendidly written and fun 800 page biology lesson.

Music:
I enjoy all types of music, and yes even country.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching the sun rise from 14,231' after one of the coldest nights of my life climbing a Colorado 14er in winter.

Sailing for 8 days through the Fijian archipelago. Some damn blue water and tasty coconuts

Teach, Learn, Share

You must sow the seed before it grows and then grow it will... we'll as long as it has water, nutrients, co2 and light
