About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To change the world and meet the people along the way that will help me do it.

ABOUT ME

I grew up in beautiful Boulder, Colorado and have lived here for the vast majority of my life. There's definitely a reason for this--there is no other place like it anywhere on earth. This being said, I also have an insatiable fascination for travel and I try to do as much as I can possibly do. I'm not getting any younger.

In my opinion, life is all about the little things. Whether it be laughter with friends or watching beautiful sunsets or listening to music that strikes an inner chord or doing work you are truly proud of, I try to set myself up for seeing beautiful things in the world around me. This includes surrounding myself with interesting, talented people from all walks of life and every corner of the world.

I love the outdoors, reading, sports, cooking, eating, sleeping, traveling, music of all kinds, and people that don't go with the status quo.

PHILOSOPHY

Everywhere you go, and everyone you meet makes a mark on you somehow and makes you who you are as a person. Beauty can be found in everything! Life is about finding out who you are and what makes you happy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Being able to give back by joining a community and being a part of something that is bigger than myself is awesome. The world is waiting to be explored, and there are so many amazing people out there that I can't wait to meet.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've done a fair bit of couchsurfing in various countries, and each and every experience has been amazing! The thing I love about couchsurfing is that you get to know a local, instead of just meeting other travelers like you would in a hostel. Not only that, but you get to know them on a much more personal level.

Interests

I love the outdoors, reading, sports, cooking, eating, sleeping, traveling, concerts, music of all kinds, and people that have interesting life experiences. But this little box is WAY too short to fit it all.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Learning how to sail off the coast of Maine, hiked the Great Wall of China, climbed a 14,000 ft. mountain, and bungee jumping.
