Hi, my name is Gema, I work as a Software Engineer in Indonesia, a country with vast different languages, separated by islands, and so many cultural heritages.

In my spare times I love to play music and reading about interesting stuff like people's inspiring stories, how the world works, history, etc. I enjoy doing travelling as well as it opens my mind to new experiences and bright ideas. I aspire to travel the world fully, in order to discover the "pale blue dot" (earth) that we live in within this vast galaxy, the universe, and beyond.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people and learn new things. And so far couchsurfing is the best platform for traveller, because this is the only place where millions travellers can virtually exist. It's more like a community than just an ordinary app.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was afraid of deep water as a child, even a small pool would scare me, especially sea they called it Thalassophobia. But then I decided to embraced it, I will make it something that I love, I started by doing snorkeling 😆. I'm not there yet but I'm aiming to get a diving license.
