ABOUT ME

we´re gem and mark rees from london and we´ve been travelling through india and south-east asia since the beginning of july after getting married. gem is 27, did a degree in fine art and has had many professions, most recently as a florist and landscape gardener. she likes making things (from jewelery to patchwork armchairs), dogs, flowers, photography and aussie comedian/pianist tim minchin. mark is 30, did a maths degree and is now a software developer. he likes music (radiohead, autechre etc), films (kubrick, haneke, miyazaki etc), comedy (bill hicks, chris morris etc), politics, science, food, juggling, snowboarding and writing in third person :-P. we´re both amiable, easy-going people who love festivals and general socialising. we are looking to make new friends we can one day return a favour to, not just a free place to sleep.
