Hello, I'm Gemma, I'm from Italy, and I never leave my house without a sketchbook! I am a photographer and illustrator, and I'm currently work within an animation studio.
I love meeting new people and listening to their stories, and, also, trying to capture their light through a picture. I'm always very shy to ask people if I can photograph them, and one of the reasons why I'm on couchsurfing is trying to overcome my shyness and fears! :-)

Other stuff I love: bikes, books, teddy bears, cinnamon, cooking, Italian food, trying new things (and foreign food!), wandering through the streets of cities I don't know, art, music. Biiiikes! :-D

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music, and I listen to many different genres. I know The Beatles' songs by heart, and I listen to Chopin, Pink Floyd, Coldplay, Joe Hisaishi, Sufjan Stevens, and many others... Also, videogame soundtrack! :-)
My favorite movie is The boy and the world. I love Star Wars!
I also love The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and Momo by Michael Ende.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Turning my Erasmus journey in Lille, France, into a beautiful story told with photographies and illustrations. I'm currently working on an animated short movie!
