About Me

A big friendly hello to everyone on Couch Surfing ! 😊

I grew up Dublin Ireland a small place called tallaght
. I have spent the last few years living in Dublin with my Boyfriend Nimai Garcia who is from Spain.
We quickly realised that there are a lot of aspects of western living that can pollute your body and mind .
So we decided to explore learn laugh and love and share our love with people all around the world .

Being vegetarian Is an important part of my life . We need to be conscious and aware of how we are effecting the earth and its beautiful creatures.
We both don't eat meat fish or egg and are in the final phase we feel of cutting out dairy as well .

We are half way through our round the world trip . We started in December in Malaysia and slowly explored north Thailand , north Vietnam and are currently in east java in Indonesia . We then fly to San Francisco to go on a road trip all around California.
We have learned so much so far and we have loved sharing experiences with people from different backgrounds from all corners of the globe .

I like to travel slowly and take my time to understand the locals and there culture . It is very important to me to respect each culture and religion as I quickly found out in south east Asia that not everyone shares the same view.

We are both new to couch surfing and are very excited to start a new journey.

Being close to nature is important to me and love the Chance to camp, explore and find the worlds hidden gems.

Waterfalls, canyons, forests , fields and all animals I love .

I am a very loving person so expect the Irish craic and loads of hugs !

I also feel couch surfing should not have the option for template messaging and I think every message should be personal however long or how much time it may take 💜 please excuse my grammer or spelling I am much more articulate in person :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I cant wait to meet like- minded people who love sharing stories, learning new cultures and enjoying a simpler way of life.
I love travelling and what a better way to do it than to stay with locals who can give advice and make loads of amazing new friends.

I really like the community feeling of couch surfing, helping each other out to live in harmony.

Interests

I love nature and the great outdoors
I really enjoy wild camping. Being out in nature helps us to connect with what is important in life.

Music and art festivals , where a sense of community is present , a sense of freedom full of like minded people .

I have a background in fine art and enjoy painting when I can . I enjoy making art with mixed media .
Travel is one of my favourite things to do , meeting new people , exploring the unknown and learning the so many different cultures of the world

Recently I have tried to incorporate mediation and mindful thinking in my every day life , I find helps to relax, unwind and deal with day to day stress, still needs a lot of work however if anyone can offer some tips I would be very grateful ❤

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We recently volunteered in north Vietnam in a tiny village in the mountains surrounded by untouched beauty . There were 5 different ethnic minorities living there and we stayed for 2 months and really became part of the family an experience I will never forget !

About Nine years ago I traveled to Mexico to volunteer with a company called projects abroad. It was a turtle conversation project which involved camping on a beach and helping to converse the species of olive ridley turtles. My daily jobs included petrols on quad bikes on the beach searching for nesting turtles, camp clean up and maintenance. I stayed there for 1 month and had the best experience meeting new people. I cant wait for my journey to begin in Asia to learn about different cultures and help those in need.
