About Me

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

After an incredible year living and teaching in China my passion for travelling has become a main interest. At present I can't host, but I will do in the future. I am currently making travelling plans for the next year or so but in the mean time I am enjoying discovering things to see and do on my own door step. I am really lucky living in a historical and cultural city and I'd love to meet up with anyone visiting Edinburgh and share it with you.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not yet been CouchSurfing myself but I am planning to travel sometime in the next six months so hopefully my experiences will be nothing but awesome!

Interests

I'm always open to trying something new.

My main interests are art and design as this is what I study at college.

Apart from that I love going out, seeing live music and trawling the internet for bizzare/oddities and funny cat video's.

I also never stop thinking about food and like eating out very much. Give me a cupcake and I will love you forever!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I cuddled a Panda.

Teach, Learn, Share

What I can teach...English! I taught it for a year as part of a volunteering program and hope to get my official TEFL diploma soon, so if anyone wants to improve their language skills I am happy to help.

What I want to learn...EVERYTHING! :) There is only so much a textbook can teach you - "life is a book and those who do not travel read only one page"

Teach. Learn. Share. I think this is a really good way of looking at these experiences. It's about so much more than just having somewhere to crash on a shoestring budget. I promise to always keep an open mind and an open heart and encourage you to do the same.
