About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To experience, explore and appreciate as many cultures as possible!

ABOUT ME

I absolutely enjoy new experiences, travelling to places that are almost untouched by human influence. To come across an area that's beauty is preserved by nature brings me immeasurable joy!

Sadly, those experiences have been limited andI am hoping Couch-Surfing will help give me a chance to experience numerous cultures first hand.

About me:
I'm a friendly, laid back, cheerful girl. I love nature and being outdoors but I often have my extreme lazy 'indoor, will not budge off of sofa' days!

I love animals, birds and dogs especially and have my own dog (a standard poodle) who has become quite infamous in Galway City! :)

I try to be as cheerful and as optimistic as possible and enjoy hanging out with like-minded people :)

PHILOSOPHY

It's nice to be nice!

What's the point in turning your back on somebody or making their life miserable? Life is short, enjoy it and try hard to make it enjoyable for others as well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I CANNOT accommodate as I am actually looking for accommodation in Galway City myself at the moment.

As soon as that's sorted, roll on the couch surfers of the world! :)

Interests

I love hiking in the back arse of nowhere, not knowing where you're going to end up. Also love living off the land, however my skills are quite lacking but am always keen to pick up tricks and knowledge!
I love cooking, animals, relaxing with a bit of post-rock and incense in the background. However I also like partying it up hard with good techno/d&b/dub! ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

His Dark Materials - I know its a children's series however the philosophy and meaning behind them is so deep and so well thought out, I have re-read these books many times!
There are many others but nothing comes to mind right now..

Music: Post-Rock (Mogwai, God is an Astronaut, Sleepmakeswaves, If Trees could Talk, Cicada..)
D&B/Techno (Dirtyphonics, Mutated Forms, Magnetic Man, Netsky, Kaskade, Nero...)
Fratellis, RHCP, Gorillaz, Norah Jones, Jack Johnson, Moby, Snow Patrol, Michael Buble.

Love all kinds of movies, except horrors...Comedies are great for their ability to turn a frown the other way round. Favourite all time films are Anastasia and Snatch!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Stumbled across a small untouched beach which is unreachable by car and hidden from view by towering cliffs. Its not just the scenic beauty that amazed me, its the people that dwelled within that made me swear that I will return some day soon!

Countries I’ve Visited

Barbados, Cuba, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Spain, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Ireland
