About Me
ABOUT ME
I am a mediterranean girl, solar, warm and cheerful. I am sociable, open minded and full of energy. I'm always singing and smiling, but I'm also calm when necessary. There are moments for loud music and moments for silence in life, and I enjoy them the same.
I've been a couchsurfer for a long time, but had a profile with my couple. You can see my old and shared profile here https://www.couchsurfing.org/profile.html?id=BLGODJF , and all the references and friends that we got along the last years.
PHILOSOPHY
The world is smiling!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I couchsurfed a lot in Mexico and in the Netherlands, and it was a wonderful experience. I met really interesting people and understood that travelling really means getting in touch with the "human factor" of a country, meeting the locals and undertanding their way of living.
Interests
I work with old people, youngsters, children... and I love it! It is always an enriching experience.
I love good food and wine, cinema (especially outdoors in the summer!!), world music, dancing (funk, salsa, samba, rumba, flamenco... whatever!) and I am a crafty girl: I like knitting, sewing, drawing, modelling with clay... and taking care of the flowers in my balcony. I also like singing.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Delicatessen and most of Jean Pierre Jeunet's, Brazil, La Haine (Kassovitz), all Gondry's or Charlie Kaufman's films (Human nature, adaptation, the eternal sunshine of a spotless mind, being John Malkovitch, Rewind Be Kind...), Quentin Tarantino, Isabel Coixet, Emir Kusturica, Wonkar Wai, Fatih Akin, Chaplin, Almodovar...
Music: I like world music, from afrobeat to samba, from flamenco to reggae, from traditional mandinga to balkan music... whatever if it transports me to any corner of the world just by listening. I specially like women singing: Billie Holiday, Cesaria Évora, Chavela Vargas, Julieta Parra, Lila Downs, Silvia P.Cruz...
Books: 100 años de soledad, Rayuela, 1984, Pedro Páramo, La bendición de la Tierra.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived in Mexico for a year, working with indigenous communities and it was an amazing experience.
