ABOUT ME
Recently graduated from uni in the UK, and now off to live in Jordan for a year to learn some more Arabic!
Spent 2012-2013 living in Istanbul, living for the most part with a Turkish family. It was a really amazing year, and I managed to do a lot of travelling/ couch surfing as a result!
PHILOSOPHY
Don't get stuck in a big city bubble... there's so much more peace and relaxation in the countryside :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've hosted a couple of times when in Istanbul, which was great - such an amazing city to show people!
Have couchsurfed in Turkey and Chile - made some life long friends!! I can't recommend this site enough!
I've always met really warm and open-minded people. Staying in a hotel disconnects you from the place you're trying to explore, making it far harder to move outside the tourist bubble. Couchsurfing is a much better way to meet locals and for travellers to connect, which makes the whole experience of travelling a whole lot more enjoyable :)
