Hello!
I've been living in Grenoble since February 2019 after moving from my home town of Nottingham. I love to travel and to learn languages and so living in France means I can move around very easily! I work at a research institute helping out scientists, thrilling haha.

I enjoy running and keeping fit, yoga, eating healthily, cooking, growing plants and allotmengting, books, music, film, languages (of course!) and upcycling. I try my best to buy locally and/or upcycle. I don't buy from huge fashion chains - hello charity shops!!

I also love tea (I'm English), coffee and a good old drink! I can never say no to a boogey or any occasion to dress up..

I don't take life too seriously and love to have a laugh with friends.

I love to make friends across the world! I have often benefitted from Couchsurfing experiences and would like to give something back to the Couchsurfing community!

Interessen

As a language student, evidently communication, language and culture are all very important to me. I love meeting new people from different backgrounds and cultures, I love to learn about anything new!

I pay attention to the environment and conservation; sometimes I wish we could start civilisation from scratch.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Music has and will always be a massive part of my life, I can appreciate almost everything but some of my favourite genres are hip-hop, alternative, r'n'b, rock, dance.. Pre-covid times I'd go to a gig a month, music being a huge part of my life having grown up in England. Next year I'm desperate to get back to an English music festival!

French films will always have a special place in my heart aha.

Sci-fi/horror/thriller literature is my favourite but will read anything. Love a good classic British novel..

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Been to China which was insane. Just before the pandemic I was lucky enough to spend a month travelling to New Caledonia and Taiwan too - the best timing ever!!!
