Overview
About Me
I'm half-Japanese half-American, born and raised in Yokohama, Japan. Growing up in an international environment, new cultures and interactions excite me. I'm based in Washington, DC (USA) but travel frequently to all sorts of places. I love cooking, making cappuccinos, playing guitar, photography, singing, watching baseball, playing soccer, dancing, techno, Bruno Mars, trying new food, hiking, and a whole lot of other things. Most importantly, I am always open to new experiences and learning through new relationships. Very excited to meet people here!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
During my backpacking trip in Summer, 2017 from Beijing to Amsterdam, I stayed with over 10+ couchsurfing hosts and had an amazing experience with every single one of them. I think this community brings together an awesome group of like-minded but also very different people. Interacting with couchsurfers as both a host and surfer is an essential part of my social life!

Teach, Learn, Share
I can talk extensively about both Japanese and American culture. I love music and am very open about all kinds of genres. Would love to listen to your favorite music and share my own! Love playing any kind of sport too. Soccer, baseball, volley ball, you name it. I've never played any one sport seriously but always down to have fun. I generally enjoy experiencing new things and having fun. We can explore events in DC and nightlife! If you want to get serious, we can talk politics, international affairs, and global trade too!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I promise to bring some sort of souvenir and am more than happy to help out with anything you may need! Also, I understand that as a guest, the least I can do is be flexible, communicative, considerate, punctual, conscientious and polite. I will clean up after myself and will not make any demands. I visit you to learn and experience your way of life, not to cause you trouble!
