About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To finish school so I can travel more

ABOUT ME

I love to meet people, especially travelers. I feel like I'm always learning something new and genuinly believe that only boring people get bored. There's always something new to do or discover. I personally love to travel and can't wait to get back on the road. I haven't traveled outside of the US since I was a baby, but plan on ending that streak very soon. Any travel advice would be welcome! I work on a tight tight budget generally so I don't really go clubbing or anything, but my housemates are always on the way out and would be happy to show you the nightlife I'm sure! Generally I hang out with a great, easygoing group of people who enjoy good times and good conversation. I'm down for almost anyexperience from coffeeshops to iceskating, movies, live music, bowling, theater, you name it. So if there's something you want to check out and I have the time I'll probably be down.

PHILOSOPHY

"Worse things have happened to better people" seems to be the one I fall back on when I need a philosaphy. I do faith creates spirituality and I appreciate people who are spiritual. I love the art of not-doing, which is to say, the art of accepting that people will do what their personality dictates in life and that we should try our best to go with that flow-sort of like drunken master-obscure reference? Everyone has great things about them and everyone has some personality flaws (well, nearly everyone). Anyways, I believe in the inherent goodness of people, however naive that may be. And I look forward to meeting you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have couchsurfed and met a pretty awsome guy from Minneapolis that way. I like to meet people, and love to travel-who wouldn't love coushsurfing?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Wonderful! I've only couchsurfed once, but during that time I met a great host named Corey (he's on my friends list) and he had two other seperate people stay with him while I was there. I got to show a girl named Nadia all over Minneapolis, and she knew as much as I did-experienced traveler! It was a great experience and I would love to have more!

Interests

I love, in no particular order, people, baking, music, guitar, violin, billiards, dancing, playing, exploring, history, literature, art, coffee or other delicious hot beverages, conversation, and creating stuff.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love almost all types of music except some rap and random others. I like good literature. Emmerson really opened my eyes, and I find myself to be a fan on flash fiction and novellas. So many masterpieces were novellas. I don't follow one specific author or another, although I've read numerous works from a couple. I use to spend a lot more time watching movies than I do now, but I love a great film. I've been watching alot of Fellini lately I guess.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I played guitar to an ant for 1/2 hour. I've met the gods and goddesses in eveyday people, and have completed a lot of things that I never thought I would be able to do. Finally, I decided to think for myself.

Teach, Learn, Share

Oh I know lots of random facts. I've traveled a lot around the US so I could give some pointers there, I like to bake, I have been playing a lot of guitar so I could show you some chords or songs, I'm prety good at pool and as I've said I love literature so if you want to discuss anything about that. I've started to learn how to spin fire this year, so that's another thing I would be happy to work on with you!
