I'm currently a rising junior at the University of Alabama. I'm a Senator for SGA and love participating in community service efforts within Tuscaloosa and my hometown. I'm also very involved in my college ministry and enjoy the outdoors and everything that entails. I love to have fun with sports and meeting new people. I'm definitely an extrovert and that's one of my passions. I don't consider anyone a stranger, just someone I haven't had the chance to be friends with yet.

In relation to travel, I lived in Tyler, TX this past summer as a camp counselor. I've also been to many states around Alabama and vacationed in other parts. My travel is limited to the South however and that's something I definitely want to do more of in the future.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I got this app earlier this month when a friend told me about it. I love to travel and see this summer as an opportunity to do more of that. Also, I'm staying in Tuscaloosa for the summer and I would love to host others.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I can show how to live independently of the world's influence. By this, I mean living authentically. I genuinely care about people and what to show that through my relationship with God. Regardless of religion though, that does not whatsoever change my perception of you as a person.

Learn: I hope to learn other perspectives and viewpoints. I have lived in small town Alabama for a majority of my life, and what to learn about the experiences of others. Hopefully, my host can show me this.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share good conversation, hopefully displacing some stereotypes about Alabama. I also want to learn more about my host each time, thus increasing the level of fun for both of us.
