CURRENT MISSION

I got a passion for traveling while aircrewing with the USAF for 18 years.Have been around the world & visited over 40 countries.My main desire at this time is to see more of the U.S.while traveling to see friends & relatives,as well as making new ones.

ABOUT ME

I am a 63 year old retired HS teacher with constant hunger for traveling.Have two sons who are on there own.One is in college & the other in the USAF.I enjoy most anything outdoors to include hiking,camping,canoeing,picnicing, or just sightseeing.I am retired from Air Force after 26 years as a crewmember on C141's & KC-10's. I enjoy meeting all kinds of people especially those right here in the states.

PHILOSOPHY

Having traveled much of the world and having been a HS teacher, I find myself being very philosophical at times. I have a special place in my heart for thoughts as presented in "Desiderata" and the "Serenity Prayer". I enjoy listening to others, for everyone has their story.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted but as of yet not traveled through couchsurfing so I am hoping to enjoy being hosted as much as I have hosting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted mostly couples so far, but am willing to host most anyone preferably over the age of 30, since I am no longer a party animal.LOL I also have never been to nor lived in Riverside, California which the system errors in reported "last login". CS tells me it is an ISP problem which they are working on resolving.

Interests

I love to do almost anything that involves the outdoors, hiking, canoeing, backpacking, etc. Love the theatre, theme parks, and most thrill seeking activities.
