About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Meet, meet, meet people!
ABOUT ME
First and foremost, I am not your typical American.
I am generally easy going, talkative, funny, creative...though i have my boundaries. For example I dont smoke or couchsurf with smokers and I do not do recreational drugs of any sort.
Since I speak a bit of more languages than I can count...and been more places than most people dare to go (520 places on 5 continents ive been pinned on my FB map, visible to friends only tho). I have tons of stories to tell (many hilarious or eye opening ones) and can relate to most people. Love learning bits of odd languages like Sasak, Guarani, Nahuatl, Valenciano
PHILOSOPHY
Why we are here is to help and be helped
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I make you inspired to see the world not just superficially! Inspire me to view the world differently, to change my routine. Love music, please bring more into my life.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Great first experience couchsurfing with Parin and Jason, I am still quite a newbie to this.
Interests
Too many interests to fit in this box! Cheap flights, sustainable living (is that ironic?), Malayo-Polynesian and Latin languages, Japanese, Chinese. Socialeconomic concerns, geology, geography.
I love to socialize about anything but some people find me intimidating at first because of my obscure knowledge. I want to tell people that I judge people for who they are, their character and compassion, not their abilities or specific knowledge
Comfortable around easy going straight forward people, people at ease with themselves
- socializing
- music
- kayaking
- boxing
- racquetball

Music, Movies, and Books
Wikipedia is wonderful, endless learning or can even teach if u r a subject expert
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Kayak on the straits of Singapore nearly touching ships on a backdrop of the skyscrapers, jungle trekked in Iguacu Falls, Brazil, beached in Rasa Ria resort in Tuaran, Borneo and idyllic town of Sayulita near Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Never ate aping (fried purple tarantulas) though saw them in Cambodia. As I have limited time on the planet, from this day forward I've decided what I do will not just be activities for my own pleasure, but activities that develop communities in need through my fledgling organization, Computer Science for Humanity.
Teach, Learn, Share
Too much too learn and teach in this tiny box. Why squash it, come meet me and lets all learn. Teach me something, learn something you can't find in school.
