About Me

I learned about Couchsurfing when I studied in Spain. During my stay there I wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to visit other European cities and countries while on a tight budget, and that's when I learned about CouchSurfing. Another international student told me about CS and how he was able to travel and enjoy most of Europe, all while staying in hosts and learning about their respective cultures and backgrounds through the eyes of locals.

I have always enjoyed meeting people and learning about diverse cultures and backgrounds. Even more so, when I became a member of AIESEC, the world's largest non-profit youth-run organization, back in University because it provided me avenues to engaged with international students that have similar interests with mine. These experiences of exchanging ideas and knowledge have allowed me to gain a better understanding of myself and have broaden my outlook in life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am in Couchsurfing because I believe this is a platform where we could meet diverse groups of people and be able to share with each other one's own culture and tradition without worrying about our differences.

Interests

I play sports - my weekends are usually spent playing basketball in the morning and/or afternoon and/or volleyball in the evening. On the other hand, my weekdays are spent working from 8AM to 5PM, and training - either physical or skills training from 7:00PM onwards, actually it depends on what time I get home.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Boyce Avenue, Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars - actually, anything, as long as it doesn't hurt the ears.
Movies: Marvel and DC, actions movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I've done would be when I studied in Spain away from my comfort zones and all the things I am used to in the Philippines. Having lived without my parents or any relatives living nearby gave me the chance to learn and grow as a young individual - it has put me in a position to learn and do things on my own.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my country's culture and background, and stories about my experiences. And in exchange, I expect to learn new languages and a better understanding of cultures.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Cambodia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, Indonesia, Italy, Latvia, Macao, Netherlands, Philippines, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, Spain, Thailand, Vatican City State, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

Philippines, Spain
