Finish my degree in Community and regional dev. and go to Africa to work with refugees of Sudan.

ABOUT ME

I enjoy people. I like to learn from people that have been there or been involved. I love books but there is nothing like life! I have 5 grown kids that are 5 of my top ten people in the world. I really like them. I like working with people and returned to school after kids grew up, so that I could do something totally different. I want to work in Sudan if that becomes possible In my lifetime...

PHILOSOPHY

Each person has inside them an unique expression of God's love. It is my desire to see that in as many people as I can. I desire to live fully..to see the important above the urgent.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think I will do some surfing, looking forward to some international..maybe Africa. right now while I am a starving student, it will probably be a little on the West coast.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My sons couchsurfed in Eastern Europe and had wonderful experiences, It sounds like such a good way to meet people. Looking forward to trying it out.

Second-Hand Lions is my favorite movie!! I like lots of music but I have to say I've never developed a taste for heavy medal or rap.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got to watch my five kids grow up! It has been amazing to watch them attack the world with vigor. It is fun to talk to them and join them. I have backpacked with llamas in the sierras, fished all day on a rock in the middle of the Boise River, pinned on my daughters wings(Air Force),I saw the Columbia Gorge at Sunrise, sailed in winter storms. These I've done because my kids keep me young.
