About Me

I am an easy going person and I just go with the flow. Like to talk, walk, drink tea, coffee and have fun with people! I like sports and outdoors: climbing, cycling (especially fixie riding!), trailrunning, camping... I am friendly, open-minded and outgoing. I just finished my first year of my degree in geography, where I learn about geology, naturals disasters, climatology, paleoclimats, etc... : I have a deep interest for understanding the world around us.

I'm always looking to get out of my comfort zone and learn new ways of living, which is why i'm moving to Vancouver for the summer as a bike mechanic.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I couch surfed for the first time when I travelled solo to Sweden and Danemark two years ago and it was a wonderful experience. I havn't have the chance to give it another try yet, but would like to try it again during the summer.

I got a job as a bike mechanic in MEC North Vancouver and I want to feel the city's vibe. in the best case scenario, I would like to couch surf on a long term as a few weeks, but only a fews days also works with me! I will be arriving in Vancouver during the first or second week of May. I am super psyched about meeting new people and a new city where I never went before.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just before I started university, I left Québec for South-East Asia for three months, solo style. I wanted to travel there before I start my degree. I never drove a scooter before I arrived there, but decided to learned on the spot! The first hours where a little bit sketchy, but I made it!

Almost lived a volcano eruption on Bali last year

Teach, Learn, Share

I share positivity and optimism! I crave discovering new cultures and ways of living. I want to meet people in Vancouver. I see through couch surfing a great opportunity to share cultures, cooking food together, taking some time to chill out with a coffee and going to festivals/events!
