ABOUT ME

I just moved to Amsterdam from Portland, Oregon. I'll be here for the next year on a writing grant. I enjoy coffee, conversations both deep and light, philosophizing, taking about art and literature, riding bicycles, wine in parks, eating outdoors, doing yoga, climbing mountains, reading poetry, alternative forms of education, and campaigning for equity and social justice

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can't offer myself as a host right now, but I would like to meet travelers for a meal or coffee or a drink. I'm happy to be a city companion on your time through Amsterdam and help to foster the wonderful CS community in other alternative ways.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had a full and exciting experience with CS. I've met the most generous and thoughtful people through it, both in traveling and in hosting. There should be more things like this in the world. It reminds me of the potential for human goodness in a world that doesn't always showcase its best and brightest side
