About Me

CURRENT MISSION

De toujours voir l'éléphant dans l'estomac du boa, jamais le banal chapeau

ABOUT ME

I always find it difficult, as I imagine most people do, to describe myself. I think that really the only way to get to someone is not just through what they say, or what they do, but how they move, how they express themselves, how they smile and laugh, and how they react. Communication is a natural thing that entails so much more than words.
That being said, and not to be too philosophical or serious, I am quite easy going I would say but never turn down a good argument. I am very stubborn as my family and friends would vouch for, however I am not unreasonable. I have a strange, yet some people seem to find it endearing, laugh. I love to play soccer, I like to read, I play the violin on occasion and I like to learn. And well that is all I will say in this box of text, the rest is yet to be uncovered.

PHILOSOPHY

The nature of Man is to be tortured by his passions and reasoned by his mind, hence to reconcile the two, one should seek an equilibrium where each state of being can contribute to happiness and fullfilment. This equilibrium is an instance of wisdom.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couched surfed with a friend of mine this summer, it was a wonderful experience. I created this profile after returning from the trip in hopes of expanding my couch surfing experience and continuing to benefit from it for years to come, both as a host and a surfer.

Interests

I love trying new things, having great conversations and laughing with good friends. Much of my time I would say, is spent doing one or all of these things!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think it's difficult to pinpoint a couple moments that have made a particular impression on me. Certain moments obviously shake you a little more profoundly than others, but I like to experience things as they come and make the most out of them. I feel I have been lucky to experience a multitude of events or moments that I would consider amazing, and hope to experience many more.
